I am the owner and head trainer here at MHS. I have been riding horses since I was 5 years old and I have been training them since I was about 10 years old. The very first horse I trained is the one shown in the picture above. Her name is Misty and she is a Hancock bred mare. I was very please with how well she turned out and she was my founding horse to start training horses for people. When I showed her at the county fair everybody was very please with how she behaved and at such a young age. She was 2 years old when I started showing her and I could do anything I wanted on her. She was gentle enough for kids and people started sending my horses. Lots of the horses that were sent to me were sent to be gentled and kid broke so kids could start riding them at the age of 2 or 3 years. Because people were looking at buying horses the same age as their kid so they could grow up together and become great frineds. I have done some showing, a few barrel races, local shows. I have trained Quarter Horses, Mustangs, Thoroughbreds, etc. I am more than willing to train anybred of horse, but I only work/train horses ranging from weanlings to 3yr olds (Starting under saddle wise), I will ride and put miles on older horses or already started horses.
